Recycling Lives leaders chosen as Faces of a Vibrant Economy

Two of Recycling Lives’ leaders have been chosen to feature in a national exhibition of inspirational business people.

Managing Director William Fletcher and Prof Steven Broomhead, chairman of Recycling Lives’ board, both feature in Grant Thornton’s 2017 Faces of a Vibrant Economy exhibition.

The exhibition celebrates leaders from across the public, private and third sectors, from emerging entrepreneurs to big business names, to show the individuals delivering growth, innovation and social purpose.

William and Steven are two of the 100 individuals chosen to feature in the exhibition, curated by professional services firm Grant Thornton.

William said:

“We’re really proud that two representatives of Recycling Lives have been chosen to feature in Faces of a Vibrant Economy – especially given how the ethos of the exhibition resonates with our own values.

“We’re an organisation that believes in good business and doing good. While Grant Thornton has been looking at how to develop a vibrant economy in the UK – one where businesses can do well as well as do good.”

William joined Recycling Lives in 2013 bringing with him a wealth of experience from years working in the financial management and retail sectors, but keen to use his skills to create social impact. He became managing director the following year.

As well as being chairman of Recycling Lives’ board, Prof Steven is chairman of rugby club Warrington Wolves and chief executive of Warrington Borough Council.
