We are delighted to announce that Recycling Lives has retained its status as an accredited Investor in People.
The Investors in People accreditation, which Recycling Lives has now held for three years, aims to improve organisational performance through enhanced planning, implementation and evaluation of training and development targets.
Each year, thousands of employers aim to become accredited ‘Investors in People’, so we’re thrilled to be able to say that we have once again achieved this standard and been recognised for our commitment to continuous business improvement through our workforce.
In addition, Investors in People have recommended that Recycling Lives becomes an IIP Ambassador. The IIP Ambassador Programme recognises companies that demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of implementing Investors in People standards within their organisation, and exemplify IIP best practice. Ambassadors are invited to speak at events, provide comment to the press, and take part in networking in order to communicate the benefits of becoming an Investor in People.
Speaking about the award, Recycling Lives’ Operations Director, Alasdair Jackson, praised the efforts of the company’s employees.
“The fact that we have achieved such excellent results in our Investors in People assessment is in no small way due to Recycling Lives employees, whose commitment to the company’s ethos and engagement with our IIP framework have demonstrated our suitability for the Investors in People Ambassador Programme.
“The outstanding results we have achieved during this assessment are a reflection on the great strides we have made since our last review, and further proof that Recycling Lives is heading in the right direction.”
At Recycling Lives, our people are our most valuable asset. Without the dedication and hard work that come from the members of our team, we wouldn’t be able to deliver the opportunities and consistently exemplary service that our customers and charity partners have come to expect.
We are committed to providing opportunities for employee development via ongoing development and training schemes. We value our employees as individuals and, in return, they’re committed to helping us achieve and exceed our aims. Achieving the Investors in People accreditation is a true reflection of the hard work and effort that everyone at Recycling Lives puts into making a difference.
