Recycling Lives supplies solar PV for social landlord

The Recycling Lives fledgling carbon reduction department has supplied a top quality Mitsubishi solar PV system for an eco retrofit project on a property in Mere, Stoke on Trent.

The end-terraced house is a part of Great Places housing stock and is being upgraded with the support of environmental consultants the LK Group and construction company Bullock.

Scott Elliott, Group Managing Director of The LK Group chose to work with Recycling Lives and their accredited installation partner Microgeneration Ltd to supply and install the solar PV system which will help the tenant to reduce their fuel bill and cut their carbon emissions.

Solar PV systems not only allow for reduced energy bills and lower carbon emissions, they also present social landlords with the possibility of gaining supplementary income through feed-in tariff schemes.
