Recycling Lives is proudly flying the Queen’s Award flag to show its commitment to sustainable development.
The six-foot by three-foot flag has been raised in preparation for the official opening and Queen’s Award Presentation of the Recycling Lives centre Preston, on Friday.
At the event Her Majesty the Queen’s Lancashire representative, the Lord-Lieutenant Shuttleworth, will present the award to Recycling Lives Founder and Chairman Steven Jackson.
Recycling Lives received the 2010 Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development back in April, for its commitment to social, environmental and commercial sustainability.
Recycling Lives Founder and Chairman Steven Jackson said: “Recycling Lives is committed to working towards sustainable development.
“It is our belief that all commercial organisations have a responsibility to help preserve the environment for future generations.
“Raising this flag is a symbol of our commitment to this belief.”
