Recycling Lives on-site services department in bid for Liver Building

Recycling Lives has been invited to quote for work to be carried out on Liverpool’s famous Royal Liver Building.

The Royal Liver Building is a Grade I Listed building based at Pier Head in Liverpool. Opened in 1911 and standing at 300ft tall, the famous landmark was the tallest building in Europe for over 20 years and is part of Liverpool’s UNESCO designated World Heritage Maritime Mercantile City.

Recycling Lives’ On-site Services department has been invited by international construction services experts, ISG plc, to quote on the stripping out of Deutsche Bank’s offices on the third floor of the building. The ambitious contract involves the removal of over 2,000m² of floor coverings from the offices – a job suited to the experience and expertise of our on-site service team.

On-site Services is a relatively new department at Recycling Lives, bringing years of experience within the company together in one place. The department offers decommissioning, deconstruction and clearance services to blue chip companies, SMEs and third sector organisations.

With vast experience of the industrial sector, Recycling Lives can offer a comprehensive On-site Services package, including everything from pre-project risk assessments to the removal and secure storage of plant and equipment. Having invested in a number of time- and energy-saving technologies, the Department can offer efficient, value-for-money services.

Recycling Lives has worked with ISG in the past, and always with great success.  As a company with a strong corporate social responsibility agenda, ISG has previously offered valuable work experience placements to Recycling Lives Residents and expressed appreciation for the hard work that both Residents and staff carry out. It is hoped that this latest project will mark the next step on collaboration between Recycling Lives and ISG, and add a new string to Recycling Lives On-site Services department’s bow.

Recycling Lives’ quote was received by ISG at the end of last month and all signs are good – fingers crossed that our flourishing On-site Services department is soon able to get to work at the Royal Liver Building!
