The ever-growing size of the Recycling Lives fleet of vehicles has reached a point where we have made the decision to upgrade our systems to ensure our customers continue to get a first class service.
We have invested in a new system which has been written specifically for Recycling Lives and deals with all aspects of transport, invoicing and customer accounts.
Phase 1 is complete and has gone live. The transport team can now track all of our vehicles as well as being able to locate all the skips and roll-on roll-off bins at the touch of a button.
Phase 2 will link all of the information from the weighbridge direct with the new transport system meaning that a great deal of time and paperwork will be saved.
Phase 3 will allow us to route all the wagons and drivers using a fully automated system. Customers will be able to arrange collections and view all documentation and receipts online. The whole process will be much quicker and streamlined meaning our Transport team will be able to focus on giving an even better service and importantly Recycling Lives’ paper waste will be reduced.
