Recycling Lives will be showcasing our innovative work at the internationally-renowned Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (RWM).
The event, which is being run in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management, takes place from September 13th – 15th at the NEC in Birmingham. It will be attended by over 600 companies from around the world and promises to be an exciting occasion, with 72 seminars being held by a number of keynote speakers, including former Minister of State for UK Trade and Investment, Lord Digby Jones.
Recycling Lives uses its 40 years of commercial prowess to help sustain our charity, and our stand will be exhibiting the extensive and varied work we’ve been undertaking in the charity and recycling sectors throughout this year. Particular emphasis will be placed on the advancements that the company has made over the last twelve months in prioritising the waste hierarchy in its activities – a number of our schemes are centred on reuse before recycling.
We will be showcasing our newly launched charity scheme Car Donation Network, a pioneering service that enables UK households to donate their old car and raise money for a charity of their choice. Car Donation Network is unique in being a ‘Community Dotcom’ scheme, one of a number of new innovative services created by Recycling Lives. A Community Dotcom scheme enables UK householders to engage with charities across the country by booking a valuable service via an easy-to-use online portal. Our stand will provide information on all our Community Donation schemes, including Bulky Waste and Furniture Donation Network.
In addition, we will be displaying our commercial services, which include skip hire, metal, WEEE and FPD recycling – all of which achieve a fantastic 99.9% recycling rate.
Recycling Lives will be located at stand number 453, in hall 17 – come over and say hello, we’re a friendly bunch!
