Recycling Lives gave me a career and something to get up for in the morning

Clinton leads by example. As our training manager, he is responsible for overseeing the training and development of all operational staff, thanks to a wealth of professional experience as a qualified and competent trainer. However, when he joined Recycling Lives it was in an entry-level position, shortly after release from a 14-year prison sentence.

Through his commitment and hard work he worked his way up. Now, not only can he relay skills to those he is training, but he can also relate to the many who have also served prison sentences and are now, as he once was, seeking an opportunity to improve their skills and realise their potential. He said: “Recycling Lives gave me a career, something to get up for in the morning and a new found drive and ambition.”
