I ended up as a prisoner at HMP Kirkham after 30 years of trouble. Whilst in Prison I had worries about the future - who would employ an ex-offender with no skills? I needed a lifeline, and I got one. Following good behaviour I managed to land a position at Recycling Lives working in the CIT department. I can’t thank Recycling Lives enough for what they have done for me. Everything Recycling Lives promised me has been delivered. If everyone worked hard in Prison and with more companies like Recycling Lives, then there would be less reoffending after Prison.

His strong work ethic has led to him working long hours to progress at Recycling Lives; he is now the first person everyone entering our main site meets, from drivers to clients. He is an ambassador for Recycling Lives, and we are proud to have him representing the company.”
