Due to an impressive growth over the last 12 months, we are looking for an experienced Site Manager who can demonstrate a natural enthusiasm for running and developing our recycling processes, with a strong commitment to our Corporate Social Responsibility ethos.

About the role:

Due to a recent partnership with Isover, we are expanding our recycling operations to Runcorn, where we will be baling recyclable materials. We are recruiting a new Baler Operative to work on a shift system within a small team.

  • Operating FLT – carry out defect reports
  • Operating manual and auto baler
  • Meeting targets which will be to process a certain number of bales per shift
  • Splitting plastic bales by hand
  • Removing any contaminants and sorting
  • Re-baling of materials
  • Keeping records such as weights and number of bales
  • House keeping
Person Specification:
  • Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck experience
  • First Aid and Fire Marshall training preferable
  • Commitment to health and safety
  • Experience of operating a baler preferred
  • Experience of meeting targets
  • Willingness to work shifts
  • Willingness to travel to our Birkenhead site for training and cover
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Hardworking and reliable
  • Ability to use initiative and problem solve
