SEE Social Enterprise
Social Enterprise Education (SEE) training is an innovative approach to supporting and nurturing the region’s next generation. This unique, not-for-profit training programme by award-winning recycler and social welfare charity Recycling Lives, delivers assistance, education and mentoring support to start-up businesses and entrepeneurs.
The SEE Training Centre
The SEE training facility is based at Recycling Lives’ Essex Street centre in the heart of Preston and delivers the training that Recycling Lives employees and Residents receive as part of their ongoing personal development.
SEE is in a unique position to provide training and mentoring support to local people and organisations and is committed to investing in the capability and skills of local people, boosting the local economy.
SEE also provides the qualifications and basic training that Recycling Lives Residents need in order to gain future employment. Residents have access to thousands of courses, ranging from Preparation for NVQ Level 2, right through to NVQ level 4 or degree level.
Who Provides the Training?
Training is provided by Recycling Lives own training departments, as well as trainers from local colleges and Universities. This breadth of access to such a wide range of training and education options benefits not only Recycling Lives employees and Residents, but also members of the local community who visit the Recycling Centre to take part in courses there.
