In a Letter from His royal Highness the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Charles extended his warmest wishes to the new “Recycling Lives” centre on Essex Street in Preston.
HRH went on to say:”I hope that the shelter, Recycling Lives will bring comfort and hope to all those who live and work there.” The Prince who is known for his Holistic views about many of the problems facing society today, was said to be impressed with the caring way in which Recycling Lives Founder Mr Steve Jackson had used his business experience and foresight to create a new approach to tackling key issues like Homelessness, unemployment, recycling, education and community regeneration in one charitable concept.
Centre manager Mrs Rebecca Wilson said:” We are absolutely delighted that HRH the Prince of Wales has sent this message of good will and hope to our centre. We look forward to making a huge difference to the lives of all of the people that work, live, learn and volunteer to be part of the Recycling Lives charity. These people allow us to tackle some of the vitally important issues affecting communities throughout the country and give us the time to make a real, lasting difference”.
