“As the network of purpose built Recycling Lives centres expand, the company will continue to transfer skills into new regions and to create many new local jobs; with particular focus on improving recycling and manufacturing new products from recyclate. Each new Recycling Lives centre will also facilitate the expansion of the Recycling Lives Charity; helping those in need to regain a foothold within their community, gain employment and to live independently. The company is very proud to receive the Queen’s Award for Enterprise on behalf of all our staff and Charity Residents.”

Joanna Hill, Head of the Queen’s Awards Office, said: “It was great to see companies like Recycling Lives and Euravia Engineering honoured at Buckingham Palace for their hard work.

“These awards are not given lightly – all the North West winners have shown they are amongst the very best in their own industry, and the country as a whole.  This is a fantastic accolade that underlines the essential role of enterprise and business in our economy.
